At the Ad-hoc Networks & Systems Research Group, our research focuses on designing and implementing engineering solutions, data link protocols in the areas of ad-hoc networks, wireless communication, and IoT systems.

Gökhan Seçinti
Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering, Istanbul Technical University.
Gökhan Seçinti, an Assistant Professor in ITU’s Computer Engineering Department, holds a PhD and MSc from ITU. He served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Northeastern University’s GENESYS Laboratory from Nov. 2017 to April 2019 and was a Research and Teaching Assistant at ITU from 2010 to 2017.
Notably, he received the distinguished PhD thesis award from ITU in 2018. Gökhan’s outstanding contributions have earned him several awards, including the best paper award from IEEE CAMAD in 2016 and the best poster paper award from IEEE INFOCOM in 2015. He actively participates as a reviewer for prestigious IEEE journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communication, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Systems, and IEEE Internet of Things Journal.
